Fees and Insurance
My fee for a psychiatric evaluation (90 to 120 minutes) is $500 USD. A follow-up session may include medication management and/or psychotherapy and the fees are as follows: 20 to 35 minutes is $160, 36 to 55 minutes is $250 and 56 to 75 minutes is $300.
Some patients may be seen for weekly therapy, while others may come in monthly or every two to three months; we'll discuss the appropriate frequency at your first session.
I am no longer accepting new Medicare patients and do not accept any other form of health insurance. However, if your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, I can provide the appropriate receipt so that you can obtain reimbursement from your insurance company.
If we meet in person, I can accept cash or check at the time of service. In order to charge a credit, debit or an HSA card, you will need to enter your card information into the secure form in my patient portal that authorizes me to charge your card for each visit. I will not have access to your actual card information. If you need to change the card for any reason, you'll be able to do that in my patient portal.
